Scottish sensation Kassidy are set to release new single ‘Waking Up Sideways’ on 4th July through Mercury Records, and just days prior to their coveted spot at T In The Park.

The band have not long completed a UK tour which saw them play a sold-out gig at Glasgow’s O2 ABC on Sauchiehall Street. Things look far from settling down with the band scheduled to play an array of festivals over the summer, including Glastonbury’s Acoustic Tent on 25th June, the Belladrum Festival in Scotland on 6th August, followed closely by both V Festival sites – Chelmsford on 20th August and Staffordshire on the 21st August.

Kassidy released their hotly-anticipated debut album Hope St in March, which was welcomed with much criticial acclaim, with Mojo Magazine gushing “Kassidy are within a whisker, just now at least, of being perfect”, meanwhile The Scottish Sun named them as “…one of the UK’s hottest bands”.

‘Waking Up Sideways’ is out on 4th July, Hope St is out now.
