Move over Kassidy – the new Scottish band making waves in the UK’s Americana, country and bluegrass scenes are quintet The Dirty Beggars.

The Dirty Beggars specialise in down and dirty bluegrass that has been electrifying crowds all over the UK. A coveted slot at Edinburgh’s Fringe Festival and two stints at the Celtic Connections Festival in the last year have cemented their potential. They’ve also received a favourable reception from fellow Scot and Orange Unsigned Winner Tommy Reilly when they supported him recently on tour.

Their debut solo album has been scheduled for release in late summer, and the band have very recently announced a mini-tour of London, including gigs at The Windmill Brixton (July 12th), The Betsey Trotwood (July 13th), and What’s Cookin’ @ The North Star ( July 14th).
