From Music Editor at Dazed & Confused to A&R man at City Rockers, a label largely responsible for the electroclash scene, to founding Crosstown Rebels and then taking his mischievous debauchery on the road alongside labelmates Seth Troxler and Art Department. All this plus his eclectic Lazpods, where he plays both the weird and the wonderful (check out his Burning Man special where he delves into Indian music and psychedelic rock), his energetic DJ sets, and some brilliant productions such as ‘Smoke the Monster Out’ make Damian Lazarus one of Britain’s best DJs (although he now lives in LA). This Saturday he plays at Fabric alongside the highly in demand Canadian duo Art Department and Maceo Plex, who is fast making a name for himself thanks to his penchant for deepest house and remixes for the likes of Azari and III. He’ll be playing a live set with material from latest album Life Index. Don’t miss it.
