“Drink, Dance, Play” is the forthcoming single from Young Kato, a 6 piece pop/rock outfit that met and formed in Cheltenham, England.

The single is a tribute to living each day to the fullest and is a zesty, punchy effort that has drawn the band favourable comparisons to Morrissey and Friendly Fires.

“Drink, Dance, Play” precedes the band’s upcoming 4 track EP, “Young Kato” scheduled for release on 23rd July 2012 with production by Gordon Mill Junior, known for his work with Placebo and Ed Sheeran.

Frontman, Tommy Wright said, “We are pop, and we’re not afraid to say that. People describe us as having an Eightie’s influence, with our synth and guitar combination with big pop chords”.

The band are scheduled to play their biggest gig yet at Cribbs Causeway alongside Pixie Lott at the Bristol Diamond Jubilee Concert on 2nd June 2012 before embarking on a string of gigs in July in support of their EP including Gloucester Park Festival on 21st July 2012.

“Drink, Dance, Play” is released on 3rd June 2012 via Manchester-based record label LAB Records.
