London’s newest noisemakers The Tricks have been slogging their guts out in the capital for the last 12 months, gigging away whilst hosting their own monthly BOP! Club night, and now they are getting ready to tour their debut EP in November.

The four-track debut release 49 Mercury EP contains crowd-favourite “Part Time Lover” as well as previous single “On Trial”, title track “49 Mercury” and “Not Too Young”.

The EP will is released on vinyl through Unison Music group from 5th November 2012 and will also available to download. If you can’t wait that long, next single “49 Mercury” is out on 7th October 2012.

The EP promises a collection of catchy, upbeat guitar-pop, referencing The Tricks’ influences which range from The Strokes to Bruce Springsteen to The Clash. It’s a good introduction to the indie-pop sound that The Tricks are all about.

If you’d prefer to hear it live, the boys tour in November visits Hysteria, Dalston (8th); Fruit, Hull (14th); Night and Day, Manchester (15th); Lock 42, Leicester (16th); Sebright Arms, London (21st); The Leopard, Doncaster (22nd); Cockpit, Leeds (23rd) and Unit, Southampton (24th).
