Ben Howard is set to release a brand new EP, “Burgh Island” on 10th December 2012 via Island Records.

Opening track “Esmerelda” made its radio debut last night as Zane Lowe’s “Hottest Record” on Radio 1.

Born in London, Ben was raised in Devon and took inspiration from his parents’ music collection, namely Joni Mitchell and Bob Dylan who are undeniable influences on his music today.

Following in the folk footsteps of Nick Drake and John Martyn, he signed to Island Records in 2011 and released singles, “Old Pine” and “The Wolves” that same year before releasing his debut album, “Every Kingdom”.

The EP release coincides with Ben’s biggest UK Tour to date with sold out slots in Leeds, Newcastle, Aberdeen, Glasgow and London.

“Burgh Island” EP is available on 10th December 2012.
