Not sure how to bid farewell to 2012?

Left Hogmanay plans a little less minute?

No need to panic! Our neighbours Edinburgh may be renowned for their New Years Eve celebrations but Gutter UK gives you SEVEN good reasons why Glasgow is undoubtedly the place to be this Hogmanay . . .

The world-famous, Club Noir brings burlesque to Glasgow with their annual Hogmanay Party this New Year’s Eve. Performances from Morag Antoinette, Tiff Finney and Gypsy Rose Lee both before AND after Midnight are scheduled at The Classic Grand to bring in the bellls. Also, DJ Loveless and Sailor Tony will be soundtracking the party with a mix of vintage and modern music, guaranteed to keep you dancing into the early hours!

The Corinthian Club are offering a swish and stylish start to 2013 with their Hogmanay celebrations; a traditional scottish celidh, live DJs will be on hand to bring in the bells. Also, a Hogmanay three-course dinner will be available with a glass of fizz on arrival priced at £50.00 per person. Tickets for Hogmanay at The Corinthian Club are available for just £25.00.

Stereo in boasting an impressive line-up for Hogmanay 2012! The cafe/bar on Renfield Lane has scheduled for live performances from bands including Starry Skies and Bill Whitmer’s Banjo Jukebox as well as some record-spinning from Bjorn of Wake The President. AND! if that wasn’t enough, cocktails and dancing- aplenty to welcome 2013. Tickets are priced at a credit-crunch friendly £8 and are available from Stereo and Mono.

Radio DJ, Gina McKie is hosting Merchant City’s Hogmanay extravanga this New Years Eve. The event will feature a Spinal Chord aerial performance, Funk Nation’s soul-soaked sound and a slot from The Paul McKenna Band. Confetti canons and the famous Merchant Square balloon prize will complete the evening. Tickets are priced at £20 and are available from Merchant City outlets including Arisaig, Mercado and Fanelli’s Restaurant.

Glasgow favourite Mono is hosting a gig-goer-friendly New Years Eve Party with live performances from The Pic Tish Tail and Randolph’s Leap.
