Paisley boy, Paolo Nutini sauntered back into our lives earlier this week when his new single got its first play on UK radio.

“Scream (Funk My Life Up)” is the first-taste of things to come from Nutini’s third studio album; the funkadelic single is a slice of soulful swagger which has already gained a favourable reception among critics and fans alike and will be available from 30th March.

Paolo Nutini’s forthcoming third album, “Caustic Love” which is scheduled for release on 14th April 2014 and was recorded in studios in Glasgow, Los Angeles and Spain. It follows 2008’s “Sunny Side Up” and his 2006 debut album, “These Streets”.

A summer tour is expected to accompany the album but no dates have been announced yet; however, Paolo has been revealed as part of the line-up for The Teenage Cancer Trust gigs playing The Royal Albert Hall in London on Wednesday 26th March 2014.

Paolo has also been confirmed to perform live at Glasgow Green when BBC Radio 1’s Big Weekend takes its debut trip North in May of this year.
