Glasgow Gigs This Week

Our very own Glaswegian boys Twin Atlantic will be playing at Glasgow’s Queen Margaret Union on Monday (15th September). The band will also play Barrowlands on Friday 24th October and an extra date for Saturdy 25th was added due to phenomenal demand. Prides and Vukovi will be providing support.

Indie rockers Owls will be at Audio on Tuesday 16th September. The band reformed after a ten year break from 2002-2012 and second album “Two” was released in March this year.

Beartooth will be coming from Ohio to perform at Cathouse on Thursday 18th September following the release of debut studio album “Disgusting” in June this year.

Announced This Week

Sam Smith will be coming to Glasgow for two nights on 16th/17th March next year performing at the O2 Academy in support of his hugely successful debut album “In The Lonely Hour”.

Chicago rapper Common is bringing his “Nobody’s Smiling” Tour to Glasgow’s O2 ABC on November 12th after his tenth studio album “Nobody’s Smiling” was recorded earlier this year.

The O2 ABC will also see Irish musician Hozier perform on November 16th after completing an American tour in October. The debut album is available to pre order now and will be on sale in the UK from October 6th.

Paul Simon and Sting announced an arena tour together to follow the success of their “On Stage Together” Tour in North America. The pair will be at the SSE Hydro next year on April 10th.

Glaswegian band Texas are celebrating 25 years as a band with a UK tour next spring. The Royal Concert Hall will see “An Evening With Texas” on Wednesday 22nd April.

Straight No Chaser will be coming to Scotland next year on 1st February with their “Happy Hour Tour” and this can be seen at Queen’s Hall in Edinburgh.
