Glasgow Gigs This Week

The Vamps will be appearing at the Clyde Auditorium on both Saturday and Sunday. The British pop/rockers will bringing their first headliner “Meet the Vamps Tour”,  to an enthusiastic Glasgow crowd this holiday weekend.

Northern Ireland’s answer to Sex Pistols are coming to Glasgow this weekend; The Undertones, known and loved for their anthem of youth spirit, “Teenage Kicks” will play Glasgow’s Garage tomorrow night.

Alternative British five piece, The Marmozets will be performing at King Tut’s next Thursday (2nd October) prior to the release of their debut album “The Weird And Wonderful Marmozets” due out on Monday 29th September. Support comes from Lonely The Brave.

Hailing from Arizona, The Maine will be taking to the stage in The Garage next Friday (3rd October) as part of the “An Acoustic Evening with The Maine Tour” and is definitely a show you can’t afford to miss!

Announced This Week

Former My Chemical Romance frontman, Gerard Way is going solo and coming to Glasgow’s O2 Academy this November which will follow the release of his debut solo album “Hesitant Alien”, scheduled for release next week.

Manic Street Preachers unveiled plans to tour later this year and will play Glasgow’s legendary Barrowlands this December.

Irish rockers, The Script have announced that they will be coming to the SSE Hydro next year on both Feburary 19th and 20th.  Earlier this month, the band released their fourth studio album “No Sound Without Silence”.

Train will be in Scotland in March 2015 and will be appearing at Edinburgh’s Usher Hall.

Scottish veteran rock band, Simple Minds will be touring next year and will also be playing a gig at Usher Hall in Edinburgh on 7th April 2014.
