It follows the adventures of eldery Britons in an Indian Retirement Home owned by the ambitious Sonny (Dev Patel) who is busy juggling business and his impending wedding to Sunaina (Tena Desae), but has enlisted the help of Muriel (Maggie Smith), Douglas (Bill Nighy) and Evelyn (Judi Dench).
