As Dumfries-born DJ, Calvin Harris prepares to bring “Outside” to Bellahouston Park’s “Summer Sessions” this weekend, we look back at some of the biggest and BEST collaborations of his career, to date.

5. “Dance Wiv Me” (With Dizzee Rascal)

Calvin Harris lent his vocals to Dizzee Rascal’s 2008 single; the track features on both Dizzee’s fourth LP, “Tongue ‘n’ Cheek” and Harris’ second LP, “Ready For The Weekend”. “Dance Wiv Me” scored the duo a UK number one single in June 2008, where it stayed for four consecutive weeks.

4.”Blame” (With John Newman)

John Newman joined Calvin Harris on this 2014 single, which gave Harris his seventh number one single last September. Newman is providing support at Bellahouston Park this weekend.

3. “Sweet Nothing” (With Florence Welch)

Florence Welch traded her machine for the Dumfries-born DJ in 2012 when she sang on this track; Harris had previously remixed Florence + The Machine’s, “Spectrum”. “Sweet Nothing” was the fifth single from Harris’ third LP, “18 Months” and scored the pair a UK number one single.

2. “I Need Your Love” (With Ellie Goulding)

Gal-pal, Ellie Goulding teamed up with Calvin Harris in 2013 with this smash-hit single. The accompanying video depicts Harris and Goulding as a lovey-dovey couple on holiday in Miami; it went to number one in The US Hot Dance Club Chart. With Goulding supporting Harris this weekend at Summer Sessions, it’s safe to assume that this track could be on the setlist!

1. “We Found Love” (With Rihanna)

The cream of the collaborations came in 2011 for Calvin Harris when he teamed up with pop princess, Rihanna. Harris wrote and produced the track; it features on both his “18 Months” LP and RiRi’s sixth studio album, “Talk That Talk”. The track went to number one in over 20 countries and the accompanying video scooped a Grammy Award.
