Glasgow’s 02 ABC is the place to be on Friday for pop fans when the team behind Pretty Ugly presents, “Murder On The Dancefloor”. Launched just last month, We Love Pop Glasgow’s Halloween Special kicks off at 11pm and promises Guest DJs from Fascination and We Love Pop London, prizes for the best pop-star costumes AND the BEST pop anthems in town! Whether you’re crazy for Kylie, loopy for Little Mix or batty for Britney, this is NOT to be missed! FREE before Midnight!
The GFT is hosting a special screening of John Carpenter’s 1978 cult slasher horror, “Halloween”, starring Donald Pleasence and Scream Queen, Jamie Lee Curtis. In 1963, six year old Michael Myers stabbed his older sister to death on Halloween night. Fast forward 15 years and 21 year old Myers escapes from the psychiatric hospital where he has been held since the murder, and returns home to wreck havoc and take his revenge on the teenagers of his old neighbourhood.
Glasgow’s newly refurbished and reopened Clutha Bar are boasting a 3 Day Halloween Weekender complete with “Alice In Wonderland” theme! Clutha In Wonderland kicks off on Friday with live music from Charlotte Marshall & The 45’s, the party continues on Saturday with Mojo Filter before Magnitude conclude Halloween on Sunday. Prize for best costume!
Glasgow’s Queen Margaret Union (QMU) present an alternative take on Halloween this Friday with their “Popcorn Horror Halloween Horror Night”. The QMU’s FREE spooktacular event boasts screenings of independent horror movies, live music from Razorblade Smile, a raffle, pub quiz and prizes for the best costume!
The Cathouse Rock Club kicks off a double dose of Halloween celebrations on Friday with FREE ENTRY before MIDNIGHT, 3 rooms, 3 DJS and 4 bars, Pumpkin Cocktails for just £5 (!) and of course, £300 cash prize for the best costume! The party continues on Saturday, only with £500 up for grabs for the best costume! Tickets are £6 for Friday (30th October 2015) and £10 for Saturday (31st October 2015).

The GFT present a double dose of horror this Saturday with special Halloween screenings of the grisly 1959 movie, “Eyes Without A Face” and John Landis’ 1981 cult classic, “An American Werewolf In London”. “Eyes Without A Face” is the stomach-churning tale of a brilliant surgeon who kills and skins women to graft onto his daughter who was badly disfigured in an accident, while “An American Werewolf In London” is the torrid tale of two American college students, David and Jack who are attacked by a mysterious beast on the Yorkshire Moors. While Jack is killed, David wakes from a coma a few weeks later and realises that he is not quite the same as he was before . . .
The Classic Grand are set to open their doors on Saturday for a whole host of ghoulish goings on! Monster-A-G0-Go boasts a Guest DJ slot from The Cave’s Jambug, live music, burlesque, themed cocktails, trick or treat goodies and, of course, LOTS of monsters! Tickets are £5 for a limited time, but will go up to £8!
McChuills present a psychedelic Halloween celebration with live music from 60s-inspired band, Kosher Pickles. The band expect you to “get pickled” and shake your ya-ya’s to their brand of garage punk! Fancy Dress is VERY much encouraged!
Glasgow’s Drury Street Bar & Kitchen are calling ALL “geeks” this Halloween with their Big Glasgow Comic Con Halloween Party. Kicking off at 6pm, their brand of Halloween havoc boasts games and prizes with FREE ENTRY!
M&D’s Halloween Drive-In (Strathclyde Park) is the place to be this weekend for horror fans! Running ALL Halloween Weekend, Saturday is jam-packed with fear-filled films; Ghostbusters kicks off the ghostly goings on from 2pm-4pm, followed by Zombieland at 9pm before Texas Chainsaw Massacre 2 at MIDNIGHT (!)
