Gigs This Week

King Tut’s Wah Wah Hut plays host to Welsh rock band, The Joy Formidable on Thursday (25th February 2016). The band, who formed in 2007 in North Wales, are due to release their third studio LP, “Hitch” next month. “Hitch” follows 2013’s “Wolf’s Law” and their 2011 debut, “The Big Roar”.

London-born drum and bass outfit, Rudimental are at Glasgow’s 02 Academy on Friday (26th February 2016). The band are out in support of their second studio effort, “We The Generation”, which dropped in April 2015; it follows their 2013 debut LP, “Home”. Support comes from Anne-Marie.

Post-punks, Fat White Family are at Glasgow’s Garage on Friday (26th February 2016). The band, from London, are out in support of their latest LP, “Songs For Our Mothers”, which dropped in January of this year.

Oran Mor play host to Northern Irish metal band, Therapy? on Friday (26th February 2016). The band formed in 1989 in Larne, Northern Ireland and have released 14 studio LPs to date, the most recent being 2015’s “Disquiet”

Singer/songwriter, Jake Evans is at Glasgow’s King Tut’s Wah Wah Hut on Saturday (27th February 2016) as part of his current UK Tour. Evans is out in support of his debut LP, “Day One”, which features guest vocals from New Order’s Bernard Sumner and Doves Jimi Goodwin.

New Yorkers, Fun Lovin’ Criminals are scheduled to play The Barrowland on Saturday (27th February 2016) celebrating 20 years of “Come Find Yourself”, their debut LP, released in 1996

Canadian rockers, Theory Of A Deadman are scheduled to play Glasgow’s 02 ABC on Sunday (28th February 2016). The band, who formed in 2001, released their fifth studio LP, “Savages” in July 2014. Support comes from Royal Republic and Forever Never.

Glasgow’s 02 ABC plays host to American singer/songwriter, Tori Kelly on Tuesday (1st March 2016). Californian-born Kelly gained popularity at the tender age of 14 by posting videos of her singing onto YouTube; her debut LP, “Unbreakable Smile” was released in June 2015. Support comes from Samm Henshaw.

Just Announced

Catfish And The Bottlemen have announced a mini UK Tour for April 2016. The band, who released their debut LP, “The Balcony” in September 2014, will kick off at Glasgow’s 02 Academy (4th) before playing gigs in Cliffs in Southend (8th), Doncaster’s Dome (9th), 02 Forum Kentish Town in London (11th) and Brighton’s Dome (12th).

Tickets go on-sale on Friday 26th February 2016 @ 10am

The View have announced a string of UK Tour Dates for April 2016. The band will play The Ironworks in Inverness (6th), The Garage in Aberdeen (7th) and Greenock’s Town Hall (22nd).
