Dundee-based indie rockers, The View have announced a string of very special gigs at Glasgow’s King Tut’s Wah Wah Hut in early 2017 to celebrate their 10th Anniversary.

“A Decade Of Dreams, Romance & Excess” will see the band play FOUR consecutive nights at the legendary Glasgow venue, kicking off on Sunday 19th February 2017 and concluding on Wednesday 22nd February 2017; the shows coincide with the 10 year Anniversary of their debut LP, “Hats Off To The Buskers”, which dropped in January 2007 and spawned the singles, “Same Jeans”, “Wasted Little DJs” and “Face For The Radio”.

The View have gone on to release a further four studio albums, including 2009’s “Which Bitch?” which featured a collaboration with fellow Scot, Paolo Nutini, 2011’s “Bread & Circuses”, 2012’s “Cheeky For A Reason” and latest LP, “Ropewalk” which dropped in September last year. The band’s “Greatest Hits” compilation, “Seven Year Setlist” was released in 2013 with frontman, Kyle Falconer saying, “Over the years there’s been four studio albums, thousands of gigs, too much vodka and loads of memories on this crazy rock ‘n’ roll journey. So we wanted to create an album that was kinda like stopping and looking back over the years, with a few new tracks too. That’s the Seven Year Setlist.”

While the band have undoubtedly notched up more than their fair share of hit singles and controversial headlines in the past decade, they are known (and loved) for their infectious, raw and unpredictable live gigs, making this mini-celebration unmissable!

Tickets go on-sale on Friday 9th December 2016 @ 9am
