Hot on the heels of their sold out string of dates at King Tut’s Wah Wah Hut in Glasgow next month, The View have unveiled plans to play Glasgow’s legendary Barrowland Ballroom to celebrate a decade since they released their debut LP, “Hats Off To The Buskers”.

The tour will see the Dundee-born band play across the UK in May of this year, including dates at Aberdeen’s Garage (5th), Manchester’s Ruby Lounge (7th), Tramshed in Cardiff (12th), Carlisle’s Old Fire Station (16th) and Edinburgh’s Liquid Rooms (17th).

Having formed in 2005, The View released “Hats Off To The Buskers” in January 2007; the album scored them a UK number one album, was nominated for The Mercury Prize and spawned the singles, “Same Jeans”, “Face For The Radio”, “Wasted Little DJs”, “The Don/Skag Trendy” and “Superstar Tradesman”

The View play Glasgow’s Barrowland Ballroom on Thursday 4th May 2017

Tickets go on-sale on Friday 27th January 2017 @ 9am
