Gigs This Week
Lower Than Atlantis will be hitting Glasgow’s 02 ABC on Wednesday (15th March 2017) with support from Young Guns. Lower Than Atlantis are out in support of latest studio effort, “Safe In Sound”, while Young Guns recently released, “Echoes” which features the singles, “Bulletproof” and “Mad World”.
The legacy of Bob Marley lives on in Glasgow on Thursday (16th March 2017) when The Wailers play Glasgow’s 02 ABC. The band, who have been playing and touring together since Marley’s death in 1981, will be bringing some reggae vibes to the city.
Keeping their traditional Paddy’s Day date with Glasgow on Friday (17th March 2017) are Irish punks, Stiff Little Fingers who play the legendary Barrowland Ballroom. Expect to hear classic tracks, “Alternative Ulster”, “Suspect Device” and “Nobody’s Hero”.
Macclesfield trio, The Virginmarys are at The Cathouse on Friday (17th March 2017). The band, who formed in 2009, are out in support of their latest LP, “Divides”; it follows 2013’s “King Of Conflict”.
Indie rockers, Broken Witt Rebels are scheduled to play Glasgow’s 02 ABC on Saturday (18th March 2017) with support from Bad Touch. 2016 saw the band release their self-titled EP which spawned the singles, “Guns” and “Low”.
Canada-born, Monster Truck play Glasgow’s 02 ABC on Sunday (19th March 2017) and are bringing Picturebooks along for the show. The band are out in support of latest LP, “Sittin’ Heavy” and it includes the singles, “Don’t Tell Me How To Live” and “For The People”.
Glasgow’s Barrowland plays host to Circa Waves on Monday (20th March 2017) with support from The Magic Gang and INHEAVEN. Since forming in 2013, the band have released two studio albums; their 2015 debut, “Young Chasers” and recently released, “Different Creatures”.
New Jersey-born band, The Early November are scheduled to play Glasgow’s King Tut’s Wah Wah Hut on Monday (20th March 2017). The band, who formed in 1999, are out in support of their fifth LP, “Fifteen Years”.
