Happy Mondays have announced plans to tour The UK this Winter in celebration of their greatest hits; 2017 marks 30 years since the band released their debut offering, “Squirrel and G-Man Twenty Four Hour Party People Plastic Face Carnt Smile (White Out)” .

Kicking off at Bristol’s 02 Academy on 14th November 2017, the massive tour will include shows at London’s Roundhouse (16th), Cardiff’s Great Hall (17th), Liverpool’s Olympia (1st December 2017), Birmingham’s 02 Institute (6th), Newcastle’s 02 Academy (8th), Manchester Academy (13th), Dublin’s Vicar Street (15th), Inverness’ Ironworks (21st) and Glasgow’s 02 Academy (23rd).

Having originally formed in Salford, Manchester in 1980, Happy Mondays are best known for their signature 1990 hit, “Step On”; the track was taken from their third studio LP, “Pills ‘n’ Thrills And Bellyaches” which the band toured in 2015 to celebrate 25 years since its release.

Tickets for Happy Monday’s “24 Hour Party People” 2017 Tour go on-sale on Friday 17th March 2017 at 9am.
