Oh man, what a match made in man heaven! Fresh off bloody classics like The Wild Bunch and Straw Dogs, notoriously drunk director Sam Peckinpah decided to take on the redneck one-hit wonder Convoy! by real life trucker C. W. McCall. With man cast Kris Kristofferson, Ernest Borgnine, and Paulie from Rocky, Peckinpah REALLY fucks some shit up! This movie has some of the best truck/car chases ever put to screen. Bear in mind that this was almost a decade BEFORE Road Warrior!
