Fresh from their successful stint at this year’s Glastonbury Festival on the BBC Introducing Stage, London-based band Deep Cut have announced that they will release their second studio album, Disorientation on 5th September.

Formed in East London in 2006, Deep Cut pin their inspiration to bands including The Byrds, The Jesus & Mary Chain, Joy Division and The Smiths, and their line-up includes former Revolver singer/guitarist Mat Flint.

Disorientation is the follow-up to their debut offering, My Thoughts Light Fires, which was released in 2009, and it will be preceeded by single ‘Something’s Got To Give’ on 8th of August. They’ve also announced tour dates including a gig at The Wilmington Arms in London on 11th of August.

‘Something’s Got To Give’ is out on 8th of August on Club AC30.  Stream the single here.
