Manchester-based band, The 1975 are set to continue the success of their debut EP with “Sex”, the anticipated follow-up.

The band’s debut offering, “Facedown” crashed into the iTunes Alternative Chart at #2 upon release and helped make the band instant favourites with radio stations Radio 1, XFM, Kerrange, NME and Q.

Forthcoming EP, “Sex” promises to be a darker and more ambitious affair than “Facedown” and looks almost certain to surpass their debut.

The band are currently at work on their debut album with co-producer, Mike Crossey, known for his work with both Arctic Monkeys and Foals.

The 1975 are hitting the tour trail next month with dates across the UK including, Leeds’ Cockpit (2nd Dec), King Tuts in Glasgow (3rd Dec) London’s Barfly (7th Dec) and Academy 2 in Dublin (12th Dec).
