Ahead of the release of their debut album, “A Perfect World”, Dublin-based band, Kodaline have announced a spring tour.

To say there has been a buzz surrounding the band lately would be an understatement; Kodaline’s take on alt-rock gained them nominations in MTV’s Brand New For 2013 and BBC’s Sound Of 2013.

The band formed in 2005 before making chart history in 2007 when debut single, “Give Me A Minute” became the first independently-released single ever to top the Irish Singles Chart. Their self-titled debut EP was released in September last year with track “All I Want” being named as Radio 1 DJ, Fearne Cotton’s “Record Of The Week” and being featured in an episode of “Grey’s Anatomy”.

“The High Hopes EP” precedes their debut offering and will be released on 17th March 2013.

Kodaline will take to the road, with shows scheduled throughout March and April including; Bristol’s Thekla (23rd March), Sheffield’s Leadmill (25th March), Nottingham’s Rescue Rooms (28th March), King Tut’s in Glasgow (31st March) and London’s Scala (4th April).

Tickets are available from Friday (8th February 2013) and are priced at £10.
