Festival season is rapidly coming to an end as the days start to shorten and Autumn creeps in . . .

However, if there’s one good thing about the closing of field gates it’s that our favourite bands are now finished their run of the festival circuit and ready to tour us through until next year.

And we’ve found just the ticket (or rather tickets!) to beat those post-fest blues. Two of 2013’s massive success stories, and major rock-chicks to boot, Deap Vally and Haim have both announced winter tours.

Now, in case you’ve been living under a rock for a while, Deap Vally are a Los Angeles duo who aren’t afraid to touch on all manner of subjects in their moody rock fashion, as debut album “Sistrionix”, released earlier this year shows. They’ve played Reading and Leeds, and their new single “Bad For My Body” is out now. They play a run of 12 dates (see below) and tickets are on sale now.

The other all-female band touring the UK this winter are Haim, aka,  BBC’s rightly-crowned ‘Sound Of 2013′. Since last year’, Don’t Save Me” put this trio of sisters, Este, Alana and Danielle Haim on the radar, they have played countless shows and festivals – most notably providing backing vocals for Primal Scream’s “Rocks” at Glastonbury this summer. With debut album “Days Are Gone” set to hit the shops on September 30th, Haim’s December tour will add a magical live element to the already much-anticipated record.
