The Witching Hour is almost upon us! With less than week to go, Glasgow is undoubtedly the place to be with a whole host of Halloween-themed events coming at you over the next two weekends! 

“The Rocky Horror Picture Show”

Released on 31st October 2013 for one week only, this cult classic is making an all-singing, all-dancing reappearance to the big screen.  Originally released in 1975, it stars Tim Curry and Susan Sarandon (Damn It, Janet!) and is one of the most successful “Midnight Movies” of all time! It is scheduled to be shown at Showcase Cinemas with tickets available for £8.40.

Paul Van Dyk’s Halloween Party

German DJ and Grammy Award Winner, Paul Van Dyk will be in Glasgow to host truly unforgettable  night at The Arches, Glasgow.  Van Dyk will be spinning some of his biggest dance-floor anthems on Saturday 26th October 2013 with tickets priced at just £24.50.


Written by Mary Shelley and one of the most famous horror films of all time, “Frankenstein” is making a special Halloween appearance for a 50th Anniversary encore at Cineworld on Renfrew Street, Glasgow and stars Bernard Cumberbatch and Johnny Lee Miller. The one-off showing will be at 7pm on 31st October 2013 and tickets cost £10.50.

Halloween ‘Horrorama’

Club Noir presents a Halloween themed night on Saturday 26th October 2013 which promises to treat you to a “glamorous scream queen and bloodthirsty burlesque” evening.  This ghostly, glitzy night will be hosted by Club Noir from 9pm till 3am. Tickets cost £15.00 but are very limited! It’s a guaranteed sell-out!

“A Nightmare on Elm Street”

The original and best slasher horror, directed by Wes Craven and starring Robert Englund and a young, Johnny Depp, is scheduled for a Halloween-special showing on 31st October 2013 at Renfrew Street’s Cineworld at 9.15pm, with tickets costing £9.10. You won’t sleep for weeks!
