Disco-duo Pet Shop Boys are bringing their shade of innovative, sophisticated pop music to UK venues this summer in support of their latest studio offering.

Released late last year, “Electric” is Pet Shop Boys 12th studio album and marked a triumphant return to the synth-pop sound and style the pair are renowned and loved for.  It soared into the Top 10 in both the UK and US Billboard Charts following its release and includes a cover of Bruce Springsteen’s, “The Last To Die” and a collaboration with Example, “Thursday”.

Now, Neil Tenant and Chris Lowe have announced plans to bring their current tour to the UK this summer; dates have been scheduled for Brighton Centre (Thursday 29th May), Birmingham’s LG Arena (Friday 13th June), Cardiff’s Motorpoint Arena (Sunday 15th June) and Blackpool’s Empress Ballroom (Monday 16th May).

28 years on from the release of their debut offering, “Please” in 1986, Pet Shops Boys are still one of the leading names in electronic/dance music and an undeniable inspiration to some of today’s biggest pop stars, including Kylie Minogue, The Killers, Lady GaGa and MadonnaStuart Price produced, “Electric” reminds us why and the accompanying tour will leave you in no doubt.
