Tomorrow (Saturday 19th April) brings the seventh consecutive Record Store Day; a unique one-day celebration where independently-owned record stores come together with both musicians and fans to celebrate music.

2014 look set to be the biggest and best celebration of vinyl yet with record stores across the globe getting involved with live music, special releases, DJ sets, in-store quizzes and FREE cake!

Love Music, Glasgow

Glasgow’s vinyl hub is celebrating in style this Record Store Day with over 600 new and exclusive releases, 19 live acts performing in-store and a FREE tea and cake stall! Live music will be provided by Colonel Mustard And The Dijon 5, Tuff Love, The Pictish Trail, Blood Relatives, Fatherson and many more. 

Underground Solu’shn, Edinburgh

Celebrating from 8am to 8pm tomorrow, Underground Solu’shn have live music lined up from Lord Of The Isles, Wounded Knee (& Friends) and Craig Smith.

Coda Music, Edinburgh

Kicking off Record Store Day at 9am, Coda Music in Edinburgh are giving a FREE bacon roll to the first 50 revellers in-store! Local Edinburgh-based, blues, folk band, King Eider will be soundtracking the event.

VoxBox Music Ltd, Edinburgh

VoxBox Music Ltd have live performances from 12.30pm to 6pm, including sets from Stanley Odd and Tuff Love. Also, Simon Goddard will be participating in an exclusive Q&A (at a nearby venue) on his new book, “Simply Thrilled : The Presposterous Story Of Postcard Records”, available exclusively as part of Record Store Day 2014.

Europa Music, Stirling

Open from 12pm, live music will be provided by local singer/songwriter, End Of Neil and Americana swing band, The Precious Penny Pluckers, among many more.

Imperial Music, Inverness

Ashley & The Cosmanaughts, The Little Mill Of Happiness and Tony Baxter will be soundtracking Inverness’ Record Store Day tomorrow, performing afternoon sessions at Imperial Music.

Record Store Day 2014 will see thousands of exclusive and unique releases to mark the event;  David Bowie, Jake Bugg, CHVRCHES, Fleetwood Mac, Coldplay and Haim are just a handful of names who are releasing exciting Record Store Day material tomorrow.
