Beyonce and Jay Z are set to kick off their joint tour, “On The Run” in Miami tonight; Mr and Mrs Carter are scheduled to play 20 gigs, mostly in the US, between now and August. The tour has already been named the second highest-grossing tour in history after U2’s “360 Tour” and has sold almost 1 million tickets grossing an estimated $100 million.

The tour even has its own high-drama trailer that could rival one for a Hollywood blockbuster featuring Sean Penn, Jake Gyllenhall, Don Cheadle and Emmy Rossum with guns, police chases and a blood-stained Beyonce!

With no UK Dates scheduled for “On The Run”, Jay Z and Queen Bey may not be coming to a stadium near you (Paris is as close as we’re getting), but even that can’t stop us getting excited about the ultimate power-couple touring together with their 5 Essential Collaborations . . .

5. “Upgrade U” Beyonce Feat Jay Z

Taken from Beyonce’s sophomore album, “B’Day” released in 2006, the couple’s collaboration was met with positive review when critics praised their “natural chemistry” on the track.

4. “Bonnie & Clyde ’03” Jay Z Feat Beyonce

Beyonce guest-starred on Jay Z’s “Bonnie & Clyde ’03” while maintaining the couple were “just good friends” when quizzed whether or not they were dating. Taken from Jay Z’s 2002 album, “The Blueprint 2 : The Gift And The Curse”, the track brought trouble for Mr Carter when singer, Toni Braxton accused him of stealing the idea to sample Tupac’s “Me And My Girlfriend” on the track; Braxton also used the sample on her 2002 track, “Me And My Boyfriend”.

3. “Deja Vu” Beyonce Feat Jay Z

The lead single from second album, “B’Day”, this sexy track scored Beyonce a number one single in the UK. The couple courted controversy with the provocative, suggestive video for “Deja Vu” which left no-one in any doubt that they were more than “just good friends”.

2. “Crazy In Love” Beyonce Feat Jay Z

Bootyshakin’ Beyonce graduated from Destiny’s Child frontwoman to an R’N’B¬†diva to be reckoned with thanks to her this, her debut solo single, taken from her debut solo album, “Dangerously In Love”, released in 2003 . . . with a little help from hubby, Jay Z, of course . . .

1. “Drunk In Love” Beyonce Feat Jay Z

From Crazy to Drunk in love, Mrs Carter shocked the world when she dropped her fifth, self-titled album last year without any warning or promotion. “Beyonce” presented a seductive, sultry Beyonce complete with provocative lyrics and racy videos, leaving Rihanna, Katy Perry and even GaGa trailing in her wake; “Drunk In Love” caused controversy for BOTH its lyrics and accompanying video. One of the undoubted stand-out tracks of Beyonce’s latest studio effort, it proves that Mr and Mrs Carter are King and Queen of collaborations.
