Gigs This Week

Above & Beyond can be found at The O2 Academy this Thursday (2nd April 2015). The trio, who are known for their electronic/trance style, formed over a decade ago. This January saw the release of fifth album “We Are All We Need”, which was the first new material from the act since 2011.

English pop-rockers, Lawson are set to take the stage at The Garage this week (Thursday 2nd April 2015). The band formed in 2009 and built up an online fan base for themselves, before releasing their debut album, “Chapman Square” in October 2012. The band are reportedly releasing their third LP later this year.

Birmingham’s Swim Deep bring their brand of indie-pop to Glasgow this week; the quintet are at King Tut’s this Friday (3rd April 2015). The band released their debut album, “Where The Heaven Are We” in August 2013.

Pierce The Veil and Sleeping With Sirens are bringing their co-headline tour to Glasgow this weekend; they play The 02 Academy on Saturday 4th April 2015. The 11 date tour features only one Scottish show. Pierce The Veil formed in 2006; their fourth studio album is due for release later in 2015 while Sleeping With Sirens released, “Madness”, their fourth LP, in March.

Just Announced

London-based, indie rockers, The Maccabees have announced that they will be appearing at Glasgow’s O2 ABC on May 12th 2015. The band unveiled new single, “Marks To Prove It” this week, the lead single from their forthcoming fourth LP.

Brit Awards Critics Choice Winner 2015 has unveiled plans to tour later this year, including a date at Glasgow’s 02 Academy on Thursday 24th September 2015. The singer/songwriter is currently at number one in the UK Album Charts with debut offering, “Chaos And The Calm”.
