Gigs This Week

Liverpool’s Circa Waves play Glasgow’s Garage on Thursday (8th April 2015). The band, who formed in 2013, released their debut album, “Young Chasers” last month.

Proving that you don’t need to be young to rock out, Sting will be making a headline appearance at The SSE Hydro on Friday (10th April 2015) alongside Paul Simon. The 63 year old rose to fame as frontman of The Police, who formed in the late 70s, before leaving the band to pursue a solo career in the mid-1980s. The veteran rocker is expected to perform a mixed bag of The Police’s biggest hits as well as his solo successes.

Rap diva, Nicki Minaj is bringing her “Pinkprint Tour” to Scotland this weekend with her debut gig at The SSE Hydro on Sunday (12th April 2015). The “Starships” singer is out in support of her latest LP, “The Pinkprint”, her third LP released in December 2014.

Lower Than Atlantis will be at Glasgow’s Garage on Monday (13th April 2015). The English alternative rockers released their self titled album last year; the fourth LP from the band. It includes singles, “Here We Go”, “English Kids In America” and “Emily”.

Brit Awards Critics’ Choice 2015 winner, James Bay can be found at the O2 ABC on Tuesday 14th April 2015. The 24 year old from Hertfordshire released his debut album, “Chaos And The Calm” in March.

X Factor success story, Olly Murs kicks off a triple treat for Scots fans at The SSE Hydro on Tuesday (14th April 2015) as part of his “Never Been Better Tour”Murs released his fourth LP of the same name in November 2014; his duet with Demi Lovato, “Up” features on the album.
