San Andreas

Danny Collins

Al Pacino is Danny Collins, an ageing 1970s rock star who can’t give up his hard-living ways. However, when manager, Frank Grubman (Christopher Plummer) discovers a a 40 year old, undelivered letter from John Lennon to Collins, it encourages the rocker to mend his ways and reconnect with his estranged son. Annette Bening and Jennifer Garner co-star.

The Connection

William Friedkin’s Oscar-winning 1971 classic, “The French Connection” is revamped from a stylish European perspective. Based on true events, magistrate Pierre Michel (Jean Dujardin) is determined to dismantle the most notorious drug smuggling operation in history. The smuggling is run by the charismatic and wealthy Gatean “Tany” Zampa (Giles Lellouche); despite the tireless interrogations and elite of Michel’s task force, it seems Zampa is always one step ahead . . .

The team that brought you “Old School” and “Road Trip” present this hysterical comedy about a groom having the worst wedding day ever! After confessing his pre-nuptial nerves to his friends, Nardo’s (Thomas Middleditch) wedding is interrupted by best pal, Jason (T.J Miller) causing his bride to be, Tracey (Shannon Woodward) to run off in a huff! Nardo goes after her, only to wind up car-jacked and left naked (except from a gold pair of leggings) in the middle of The Mexican desert! 

The Goob

This gritty drama stars newcomer Liam Walpole as teenager, Goob Taylor who spends his time running a transport cafe with his Mum, Janet (Sienna Guilory) However, his life in rural Norfolk is turned upside down when Janet starts dating tattooed, stock driver, Gene Womack (Sean Harris) who makes no secret of his hatred for Goob. Tensions run to breaking point and Janet is forced to choose between her womanising lover or her 16 year old son. S Club 7’s Hannah Spearitt co-stars.
