Fresh from the release of their long-awaited third LP, “Anthems For Doomed Youth” earlier this month, The Libertines have announced plans to tour the UK in early 2016.

“Anthems For Doomed Youth” includes the singles, “Gunga Din” and “Glasgow Coma Scale Blues” and is their first album in 11 years; it follows their 2002 debut, “Up The Bracket” and their self-titled LP released in 2004The rejuvenated band played a string of intimate UK dates on the week of the album’s release; unfortunately gigs in London and Manchester were cancelled due to “a medical emergency” regarding Pete Doherty, it was later revealed the singer suffered from a severe anxiety attack.

The Libertines have confirmed they will be out on tour in January 2016; kicking off with a gig at Glasgow’s SSE Hydro (21st), before stopping off for shows in Manchester Arena (23rd), Capital FM Arena in Nottingham (25th), Cardiff’s Motorpoint Arena (26th), Birmingham’s Barclaycard Arena (27th), The BIC in Bournemouth (29th) and concluding at London’s 02 Arena (30th).
