8. “Can’t Remember To Forget You” (With Shakira/2014)

Rihanna¬†paired up with Colombian singer and hip swiveller, Shakira for this 2014 reggae-rock single; the track features on Shakira’s self-titled 10th studio effort. The single received mixed reviews from critics and narrowly missed The Top 10 here in The UK, charting at #11.

7. “Princess Of China” (With Coldplay/2012)

Coldplay recruited Rihanna in 2012 for this single, taken from their fifth studio LP, “Mylo Xyloto”. The song was performed live at The 54th Grammy Awards in Los Angeles and the accompanying video depicts a love story between Chris Martin and “multi-armed goddess” Rihanna. It scored the band a Top 5 hit single here in The UK.

6. “Run This Town” (With Jay Z & Kanye West”/2009)

RiRi teamed up with hip-hop heavyweights, Jay Z and Kanye West for this 2009 single. The track features on Jay Z’s 11th studio album, “The Blueprint 3” and the accompanying video shows the trio in a post-apocalyptic scene of violence and protests, directed by Anthony Mandler. “Run This Town” reached #1 in The UK.

5. Fly (With Nicki Minaj/2011)

Rap diva, Nicki Minaj called on Rihanna in 2011 to provide vocals on track, “Fly”, a song which deals with overcoming stereotypes and negativity. The track was the last single to be lifted from Minaj’s debut studio LP, “Pink Friday” and the accompanying video echoed the post-apocalyptic theme of “Run This Town”. The single charted at #16 in The UK Singles Chart, but climbed to the top spot in The UK R&B Chart.

4. “Who’s The Chick?” (With David Guetta/2010)

In 2010, French DJ, David Guetta’s dance pop anthem, “Who’s That Chick?” was given a touch of magic when Barbadian born, Rihanna provided guest vocals. The track features on Guetta’s fourth studio LP, “One Love”, released in 2009. It peaked at #6 in The UK Singles Chart, but scored Guetta a #1 in The UK Dance Chart.

3. “Take Care” (With Drake/2012)

Rihanna paired up with old pal, Drake in 2012 for this stunning single; the duo also collaborated on her 2010 single, “What’s My Name?” The track features on Drake’s 2011 album of the same name and the accompanying video is minimalistic and depicts Rihanna and Drake as a couple acknowledging past hurt, but promising to look after one another in future. The single charted at #9 here in The UK and was covered by Florence + The Machine for Radio 1’s Live Lounge.

2. “Love The Way You Lie” (With Eminem/2010)

Slim Shady and Rihanna proved to be the perfect partnership with this track in 2010; the single features on Eminem’s seventh studio LP, “Recovery” while Rihanna recorded an alternative version (also featuring Eminem) for her 2009 album, “Loud”. The track deals with domestic violence and the accompanying video features actors, Megan Fox and Dominic Monaghan. The song was the biggest selling UK single of 2010 and charted at #2 here in The UK.

1. “We Found Love” (With Calvin Harris/2011)

2011 saw RiRi pair up with a DJ for the second time with enormous success. Dumfries-born DJ, Calvin Harris paired up with Rihanna for his massive hit single, “We Found Love” in 2011. The track features on both Harris’ third LP, “18 Months” and Rihanna’s sixth studio effort, “Talk That Talk”. The accompanying video sees Rihanna depicted as a drug-abusing, thrill seeker in a turbulent, and often violent, relationship; it was reportedly inspired by RiRi’s relationship with singer, Chris Brown. “We Found Love” charted at #1 in The UK Singles Chart.
