Gigs This Week

Glasgow 02 ABC play host to House Of Pain on Tuesday (13th June 2017) as part of their 25th Anniversary Tour. The LA-born hip hop group released three studio albums between 1992 and 1996 before lead rapper Everlast left to embark on a solo career. The band are best known for their signature hit, “Jump Around”.

Watford born singer/songwriter Kyla La Grange is scheduled to play King Tut’s Wah Wah Hut on Tuesday (13th June 2017). La Grange is due to drop her third LP in the near future; it follows her 2012 debut, “Ashes” and 2014’s “Cut Your Teeth”.

American singer/songwriter, Chastity Brown is at King Tut’s Wah Wah Hut on Wednesday (14th June 2017). Brown, from Minnesota, is out in support of her fifth studio effort, “Silhouette Of Sirens”.

Glasgow’s Garage plays host to cosmic pop this Wednesday (14th June 2017) with The Old Pink House. The four-piece band are currently out on a UK Tour.

Homegrown talent, Tijuana Bibles are at King Tut’s Wah Wah Hut on Friday (16th June 2017) and Saturday (17th June 2017). The Glasgow-born quartet have support from Feet Of ClayDead Coyotes, Carly Connor and Apache Sun.

Broadcast plays host to rock quartet, The Peacers on Friday (16th June 2017). The band, from San Francisco, are out in support of latest LP, “Introducing The Crimson” on a UK Tour which takes in Glasgow, Leeds, York and London.

Paisley-born crooner Jamie McAuley & The Strays will be at Glasgow’s 02 ABC on Friday (16th June 2017). McAuley will suit those partial to The 1975 and Elvis Presley, with support including The Cairds and Stone Ivy.

Alt-rockers, The Filthy Tongues are bringing the soundtrack on Saturday (17th June 2017) at Glasgow’s 02 ABC. The band, from Edinburgh, were previously known as Isa & The Filthy Tongues until 2014; they have released two albums to date.

Glasgow’s Stereo plays host to trio All We Are on Sunday (18th June 2017). The Liverpool-born post punk band are out in support of their brand new album, “Sunny Hills” which dropped earlier this month.

Psychedelic rock band, Pond (AUS) are at The Art School in Glasgow on Monday (19th June 2017). The band, from Perth, Australia, are out in support of their latest LP, “The Weather” which dropped in May of this year.
